Designer Lise Navne created this lamp with its very own style based on a honeycomb pleating technique. The lamp is called the Donut from its shape: a ring with a hole in the middle, where the honeycomb pleating encircles the centre. This makes the Donut very complicated to fold.

This lamp is popularly known as the Donut lamp.

When she created the lamp in 2007, designer Lise Navne was in fact inspired by the acutely rounded shape of its edible counterpart.
